Ohio....Hell Yea.

I moved away just over a year ago and I was just there 3 weeks ago....but, damn, I miss Ohio. That's why I was pleased to find out that Audio Eagle, a label based in the Rubber City of Akron, Ohio (and mentioned here yesterday) has announced the Giant Fucking Ohio Compilation. Confirmed on the compilation so far are: Robert Pollard, Doug Gillard, the Heartless Bastards (live review), the Black Keys, Beaten Awake (previous mention) and Houseguest. Other bands will be announced with the release date. The release is set for 2007 though, and that only leaves a couple of months so stop back for updates. As soon as I hear more, you will hear more.
